Renowned brand: Robert Parker’s notations > 92-94/100

Thanks to its history, its exceptional terroir on the Saint-Emilion limestone plateau, and the quality of the wine produced, Château Grand-Pontet is one of the major Grands Crus Classés of the Saint-Emilion Appellation

Project "Grand Charmail" - Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel AOC Haut-Médoc - 2021

Wine Experts has advised the structuring and the implementation of the project « Grand Charmail », set up through 3 simultaneous transactions:

- sale of a majority stake of Château Charmail, Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel (~28 ha in AOP Haut-Médoc)
- disposal of Château Saint-Paul, Cru Bourgeois (~29 ha in AOP Haut-Médoc)
- disposal of Château Bardis, historic wine estate (~18 ha of which ~7 ha in AOP Haut Médoc)

                                                                                

The project « Grand Charmail », initially designed and proposed by Wine Experts, is an ambitious business project in the Haut-Medoc Region.
The main objectives of this project, which groups together 3 adjacent wine estates, are :
- expansion of the Château Charmail vineyard on a top terroir, thanks to the integration of the Saint-Paul vineyard expected in 2025 when the next Cru Bourgeois Classification will be published
- development of the « Chateau Charmail » brand in terms of volume of production and recognition
- development of a new oenotouristic offer in the Medoc region, located on the historic and outstanding site at Chateau Bardis

Château d'Ardennes is a historic wine estate of the Bordeaux region, located in the Graves Appellation of Origin.
Total surface: 67 ha
Vineyard surface: ~34 ha (25 ha of red vines and 9 ha of white vines), planted on exceptional terroirs of deep gravels
Average production: 220 000 bottles per year 
Château d'Ardennes is recognized as one of the leading wine estates of the Graves Appellation.

Disposal of Château Saint-Pierre de Corbian - Saint-Estèphe AOC - 2021

Château Saint-Pierre is a 4 ha vineyard property, benefiting from a one piece vineyard, located at the place known as Corbian, close to Château Le Boscq, Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel, and Château Calon-Segur, Grand Cru Classé in 1855.
The very qualitative terroir is composed of gravels and clay, and the vines are perfectly exposed on a south-oriented hill.
The wine estate is advised by Stéphane Derenoncourt and managed by Jean de Laitre.
The wines produced are recognised - James Suckling rating for the vintages 2018 and 2019 : 93-94/100.
 

The buyer, SCPI LF Les Grands Palais, is the first SCPI to invest in the french vineyard.
The operation of the vineyard has been entrusted to Château Le Boscq through a long-term rural lease.

Acquisition of Domaine Delesvaux - Anjou Villages & Coteaux du Layon Saint-Aubin AOC - 2021

The Domaine is a leading Wine Estate in the Loire Valley, cultivated with biodynamic methods since the early 1990s.
It features a 10 ha single piece vineyard, spreading over two main appellations of Origin:
- Anjou Villages
- Coteaux du Layon Saint-Aubin

The Estate groups together two Clos - Clos de la Guiberderie and Clos du Pavillon - and is requesting a "Premier Cru" classification, to be approved by INAO.

The wines produced are very recognised and listed in the Robert Parker's guide since 1985.
The Cuvée ANTHOLOGIE is one of the greatest achievements in the Loire Valley considering Sweet Wines (Robert Paker rating: 99+/100 for the 1996 vintage, ~150 € for a 50 mL bottle).
